Boat Rentals

Houseboats are a very popular boat for cruising the Delta the marinas rent several types of boats for your pleasure. When you rent a houseboat, they give you some instruction and some hands-on practice at the helm, and do not let you on your own until you feel comfortable behind the wheel. Rental houseboats typically cruise at around 10 mph, giving you an unhurried opportunity to enjoy the Delta as you cruise along. Because of insurance limitations, most companies do not permit you to take a rental houseboat downstream of the Antioch Bridge, where waters can on occasion be too rough for some boats.

Types of rental boats include:

Patio boats, which can accommodate from 4 to 8 persons and usually rent by the day
Runabouts/skiboats, that can carry up to 8 persons depending on boat size and usually rent at a half-day minimum
Fishing boats with or without outboard motors that rent by the day
Personal watercraft (Jet Skis)
