31" striper and then landed this 48
inch Sturgeon on Sunday April 27th
at the San Andreas Shoals. Her
husband Keoki Netted the fish, clean
the fish and cooked the fish. |

April 20: Jerry Yuke caught these
two lunker largemouths in the north
Delta on 5" Senko worms. They
were fished weightless on 3/0 Gamakatsu
EWG worm hook. They weighed: 7lbs.
10oz and 4lbs. 10oz. This is
the best time to catch lunker bass
in the Delta because the full moon
is this Sunday the 20th of April.

6 lb striper on Bethel Island.

Jan 14: Was out fishing with my Buddy G.W. on
the Delta. We had learned some new Tricks from Pro
bass angler Bobby Barrack (Frogs to Hogs). One
trick was how to catch Big Stripers. Sure enough 1hr
into our trip it was time to go. We both had our limits.
3 were in the 10lb range and 1 was over 16. We
headed back home stopping at Dave’s bass shack
to replenish our lures that we lost on big fish of
course. Dave asked where we were going. We just laughed
and said we were already there and back. Thanks to
Bobby B. fish were on ice… beer was in hand,
as we fell asleep watching football. Mike D. |

his 40+ Salmon caught on the American
River. |

Aug 8. Oranza Wiley caught several stripers using
shad on Sherman Lake in an outgoing tide. The
largest was a 30#, 30". The rest were 29",
27" &
19" respectively. |
Aug 8. Mike D. landed a 7 lber. This sucker thought
he or she was Barry Sanders Zig Zagging tules with
a breakaway speed of Marshal Faulk. When it was
done and over, sitting in the middle of nowhere
surrounded by tulles maybe 11-12 feet high (very
dense) I thanked our heavenly father and anyone
else that would listen. And wondered how I got
so deep in this brush and how I was going to get
out. Lucky for me I had my 5-15 ft retractable
get out nowhere stick.

a 20 lb, 35" striper using anchovies
and caught it across from the Pittsburg
Power plant in Suisun Bay. |
